Since my mom was crabby tonight, we did not end up making dinner. I still had a soup craving, however, so I made Progresso Vegetable Classics Minestrone. I like that it is vegetarian.
I used the stovetop and it took about 10 minutes on a low-medium setting.
Finally time to eat! I thought it was good. I liked all the noodles, beans, celery, peas, carrots, potatoes, spinach,, and green beans. Progresso advertises that it has no MSG, which is good. The broth tasted fine alone, it was rather thicker than I expected.
So overall, I’d say it hit the spot for my soup craving. I ate the whole can, but that’s all I ate. I like how it is vegetarian, with no chicken broth or anything. It’s got high sodium, but it’s pretty hard for a canned soup not to. I would eat this again. It might be good to add some parmesan cheese or salt and pepper.
It’s Snowcoming week at school. What is Snowcoming, you ask? Just like Homecoming in the fall, but in the winter! My school has dress up days and today was nerd day. Being the math geek that I am, I wore this

Basketball is cancelled tonight, no cheer practice today……. I’m gonna die! What should I do?!?!!?
I think I’m gonna make an actual recipe for dinner tonight. Any suggestions?? I might post one of my own recipes… unless I hear of something better!
Last, I need to buy a running watch. I’m thinking about the Garmin Forerunner 10. Or the FR70??? Are they good?I don’t want anything super special, just distance, time, maybe calories burned? Any other watches would be greatly appreciated! Anyone selling an old watch? I could maybe buy!
I ran the first 5 mile run of my half marathon training. It was great. The scenery on the boardwalk was breathtaking. Words can’t describe how good I feel. I’m sure all the other runners know the feeling of finishing a long run! The whole rest of the day you feel good. And since it’s drizzling, my feet were literally saturated 100% from puddles and snow.
To celebrate, it’s Taco Tuesday! A local group has a fundraiser every week and I usually go. Today is the first time I EVER ordered meat. Normally I get a veggie taco, but I’m expanding my horizons! I know I’m totally going in the opposite way of most health freaks (just starting to eat meat), but I believe meat is okay in moderation. So, what did I order? Taco salad! Light meat, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. I ended up picking a lot of the meat out but I’m proud of myself for eating some!

While it was a very different day than I imagined it would be, it was definitely for the better. I was supposed to have cheerleading practice and a basketball game, both were cancelled.
Uggghhhhh……. just realized I forgot about Dance Moms…….. poop
As I was doing yoga that I woke up early for this morning, my mom informed me that my school has a
two hour delay snow day! So what am I going to do for two hours the rest of the day? Blog, of course!
Last night I had a cheerleading competition. Sis! Boom! Bah! Not really. Cheerleading is such a workout. I mean, hey, we’re lifting people. I mainly joined for the tumbling (gymnastics) part. Oh yeah, did I mention that my mom’s the coach? Anyway, we won! There still might be one more competition but we’re not sure yet.

Sundays are pretty busy for me. Church, then two basketball practices, noon-1:30 and 3-5. Today I had a banana and turkey sandwich in between to refuel. I am ready to eat when I get home.
I made a vegan burger for dinner. I use BOCA Original Vegan (2 WWP). They couldn’t be easier to make, put it on the pan and flip it when it’s brown. I use Brownberry’s Sandwich Thins (3 WWP) for the bun as a healthy alternative. I also used those on my turkey sandwich earlier.
I put some lettuce, added the burger, put some mayo (I love it) and that’s my dinner! I also made some peas and mixed them with the remnants of the sauce from my mom’s Lean Cuisine Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli, which was pretty tasty.
We’re supposed to get a snow storm tonight! Snow day tomorrow? I hope so!
